About GYAS Capital
Founded in 2008, GYAS began as an independent advisory firm focused on delivering trusted advice and innovative solutions in complex, often non-bankable transactions. The founder, drawing on education at premier U.S. institutions and professional experience on Wall Street, recognized the need for world-class financial advisory and consulting services for SMEs in Croatia and later across Southeastern Europe (SEE).
Over the years, GYAS has expanded its team to include leading professionals from consulting, banking, private equity, and executive management, building a reputation for excellence in advising, managing, and restructuring companies. Collectively, GYAS and its principals bring together more than a century of experience in structuring and executing complex transactions, corporate transformations, and alternative fund management across industries including FMCG, IT, financial services, energy, manufacturing, wholesale, retail, and construction.
In 2025, GYAS reached a significant milestone by receiving a license from the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (HANFA) to operate as an Alternative Investment Fund Management Company (UAIF). To reflect this new chapter, the firm was renamed GYAS Capital, signaling its ambition to raise and manage specialized Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) designed for institutional and sophisticated investors. GYAS Capital is preparing its inaugural fund launches with a focus on the energy sector, private credit, and construction, leveraging innovative business models and sector consolidation to deliver long-term value.
